be careful not to apply too much eye cream or too much shape tape. So, I've tried with with my Belif moisturizing eye bomb cream (another gel eye cream that is a bit heavier) and it freaking worked with this one too!! So, my theory is that you can mix any gel eye cream with tarte shape tape to make it more hydrating and less cakey and it will look flawless!! Seriously try it! especially if you bought the shape tape and found it was too drying for you. So, I randomly took my eye cream, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel cream (very light gel eye cream), placed a dot one each undereye and then applied a tiny bit of the shape tape next to it I blended these together with my beauty blender.and girl, it looked BEAUTIFUL i almost cried i swear (lol sorry im so dramatic) but the eye cream MADE THE CONCEALER WORK! it looked hydrated and beautiful! it even stayed looking that way after i set with my hourglass ambient lighting powder (only powder that works on my undereyes as long as i only apply a tiny layer). But I really really wanted to make it work on my undereyes. I can tell it's a great concealer for normal skin or oily skin because when I use it on other parts of my face that aren't as dry, it is FULL COVERAGE and covers everything. Of course, it ended up making my undereyes look so dry, cakey, and gross. So I finally caved and got the tarte shape tape despite the fact that my undereyes are so so dry.
